Willow Hill did not begin as a business plan. It began with a dream, then a feeling. The kind you get when you walk onto a piece of land and think: this is the place. The kind where people slow down, look each other in the eye, and remember why they are there. We built it for that feeling. Everything else followed.

greg & nicole

our story

Greg and Nicole met the world through two different lenses. One capturing moments, one creating them. At Willow Hill, those lenses have become one.

Together, they offer something rare in the wedding industry: a venue founded not by developers or event companies, but by two people who understand at a cellular level what it means to mark a moment well.

Nicole grew up watching her parents pioneer adventure travel. Her family's company, founded in 1978, is credited with opening Tanzania and East Africa to Western travelers. She joined the family business, partnered with National Geographic on family adventures, and launched a luxury brand offering bespoke global experiences for over 13 years. She is also co-owner of AdventureWomen. At Willow Hill, she brings that same global sensibility and obsessive attention to detail to every couple's weekend. Her guiding belief: the best experiences feel effortless, even when they are extraordinarily well-crafted.

While Greg’s career has focused on capturing special moments, Nicole’s has centered on creating them.

Greg launched Willow Tree Films driven by one goal: to make wedding films that are timeless, emotionally honest, and genuinely cinematic. His story-driven approach — marrying drone footage with candid slow-motion moments and an instinctive feel for event flow — earned him Boston Magazine's 'Best Wedding Videographer' three times: 2021, 2023, and 2024. That eye for light, timing, and detail is not just how he makes films. It is the invisible architecture of everything at Willow Hill.

Greg started his award-winning wedding cinematography company, Willow Tree Films, in 2012, distilling years in the creative industry with a drive to create films that are timeless, elegant and authentic.
